I am a Grammy-nominated, multiple-award-winning choral conductor, clinician, and consultant based in Omaha, Nebraska.
Choral music is my calling. I am incredibly active in the profession: teaching collegiately, conducting and teaching applied voice in the community, and traveling to do honor choir, clinic, and adjudication work. I also regularly bring performing ensembles to state conferences, and present interest sessions and reading sessions for my colleagues.

Sing Omaha is one of the nation’s largest and most successful music education and performance nonprofits. I founded this organization in 2007, and continue to serve as the Executive and Artistic Director, overseeing 10 choirs, two studio locations, and more than 30 faculty and staff while maintaining a voice studio of 12+ students and conducting two of Sing Omaha’s ten ensembles.
I have served as the Director of Choral Activities at Peru State College since the Fall of 2014 where I conduct the institution’s two concert ensembles: Concert Chorale and Women’s Choir. I also maintain a full classroom load, with advanced Music Theory and Music History courses. I am active on committees as well, and currently serving on the Teacher Education Committee, chairing the Assessment Committee, and serving on the Faculty Senate.
I have served on the Nebraska Choral Directors Association board since 2009 and was elected to a three-year term as Treasurer in 2018. I’ve conducted ensembles on state conferences three times since 2012, and was selected to conduct the organization’s first All-State Concert Choir in 2019.
I am grateful to serve among passionate, expert choral music educators, and to have studied with some of the finest pedagogues in the profession.
